The name spelling could be on purpose, it's a quote regarding a lack of knowledge about the subject. "Is Gaga a character? Because your name is Stephanie" is actually quite a clever title.

If she answers yes I will be so done :saladga:

she'll say something like this: well, yes and no. no, because she's an essential/organic part of me; and yes, because i've been battling with depression and anxiety since a very young age and i felt that i wasn't strong enough to be myself, so i created her. someone that is stronger and more confident than me.

if she had been asked the same question during TF/M and the BTW eras, she'd have said: no, there is absolutely no difference or i don't know who you're looking for/i don't understand the question: she's right here. i'm right here.

if you can recall, not so long ago she posted passages and quotes from books on mental illness and psychosis, meaning that she's more self-conscious about approaching her identity or, if you will, hybrid personality. she's aware that they are—stefani is not just lady gaga and lady gaga is not just lady and gaga—in a sense "characters," but she's also aware of the medical as well as the artistic background of, let's put it this way, subject theory.

anyway, the point is that her answer will essentially translate as yes and no.

remember, she's ****ing smart and the lie is much more honest because she invented it. :gaycat:

Sorry I didn't assume the worst of a situation? Since when did giving someone the benefit of the doubt become deep? :awkney:
