Its funny because it isn't "funny". Usually when you photoshop yourself in, you do some sort of unlikely situation thats humorous or odd. Except its not that crazy for the three of them to be in a photo together. On the other hand, you had to know people will know its shopped... so its also not a genuine attempt at being sneaky surely. 

So I really don't understand the end goal here. Just to do exactly what its done? Cause people to go "wtf?"

I mean last year they teased it quite obviously... Maybe Gaga asked her to remove the pic in order not to tease ?? Just a guess from me

The Gaga & Katy photo is definitely real, I can't find any evidences that it's faked at any point.

Hmm, but is it "obvious" enough to warrant a "HEY! take that down or they'll KNOW!" from Gaga if that scenario were true? Hardly an obvious clue really, do you think?

I think she reposted a fan made picture and then deleted it when she realised that it wasn't real  I mean she reposted a picture of another woman who looked like her by accident so I don't think my guess is that outside of the box
