I also didn't really like Applause untill some weeks passed and the VMAs performance, even to this day I think it's not as good as a real Gaga lead single (Just Dance, Bad Romance, Born This Way are AMAZING lead single... Applause meh). Same happened with Born This Way, I didn't like it at first but it's such an amazing song wow

Every lead single Gaga has, I sit there and am like  This is exactly what happened with BTW and Applause.

But since it's Gaga, I blasted them for hours on end for days.... And now I love them.

Thats what I like about Gaga's music and why i can listen to it on repeat for two months and then continuly listen to it for years after it is released, because there is depth and hidden meaning and things to listen for in every song.

Lots of songs, tbh, like the majority of BTW. I used to like only Judas, Scheisse, Bloody Mary, FOHL, HML and TEOG back in my GP days.  

But the best examples? Jewels n Drugs, Highway Unicorn, Bad Kids and The Queen.

This too!

I was so quick to disregard it after having been slayed by "Donatella" on the album, but that song has me feeling things now. It's perfection and a great drinking song.
