Fort Mcmurray, a city of over 120,000 has been entirely evaculated. The entire city was told to leave imediately as the forest fire roars through city

 

Fort McMurray is also Canada's Oil and Gas Capital and responsible for 20% of the Nations economy. This could have huge implications for all of Canada should the city be destroyed.

Even tho the city had only 120,000 people, its the most important city in Canada. Its Canadas economic engine

 

Oil and Gas are our biggest exports and Fort Mcmurray is right by our reserves and its the hub for the entire thing

 

If the city is destroyed, Canadas economy could cripple

Well i live in Toronto lol im no where near this thing, im safe

 

I just hope the city isnt destroyed because that would affect the entire Country. 

 

Its not a huge city but that city is SOOO important for the whole country. If it goes...

It also just so happens to be the Central operations of our Oil and Natural Gas extration (out biggest exports)

 

70% of North Americas oil reserves are right beside Fort Mcmurray

 

This city though not huge, is arguably Canadas most important city economically speaking
