You have Monsters confused with Madonna fans, that's what they think about Madonna.

I don't recall allowing you the permission to quote me

Most of these things are retro inspired. The only thing I really saw as fresh was the latex.

I always wonder, is she on her knees on that one?

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Latex has been on the fashion runways for many years, incl. before 2011. Gaga's looks were actually underdesigned compared to them.

Besides, if we're to credit any pop star for bringing latex wear to public consciousness, it's Britney. Hello.

Nothing new about bedazzling your jacket either. I mean, Gaga's literally referencing 80's style denim jackets there, so the counter-argument is withing the look itself :chica:

The high bun with bangs is differently interpreted too: Gaga just humorously made a huge bun out of it, Katy wore the bun so that it looked like a hat with her bangs coming out of them from underneath. Same inspiration (bun with bangs, classic hairstyle btw), different idea.

The EMA look is just stupid, since the silhouettes couldn't be more different ànd the (Gaga) look is actually a throwback to iconic Paco Rabanne pieces from the 60's onwards:

Paco Rabanne went back to that aesthetic for their spring 2012 line, and Gaga just wore several pieces from that collection, and a few others, a few months earlier. So if anyone deserves the credit, it's Paco Rabanne, not Gaga.

Besides, the famous armored dress technique that's basically unique for Paco Rabanne isn't even incorporated in Taylor's dress, so there's literally no link.

Do your research.

I must admit that this feminine version of Jared Leto really suits him.

No. Because it's not like ANY of those Gaga's looks are original. They all took inspiration from something else. Just because she's a mainstream artist bringing that style into today's culture doesn't mean other artists are taking the idea from her.

Latex dresses weren't invented by Gaga.

Beehive/tall hair wasn't invented by Gaga.

Bedazzled denim was DEFINITELY not invented by Gaga.

Scaled and or metallic fashion was not invented by Gaga.

The first latex example from Britney is very simple. Gaga's latex outfits were more fashion oriented (like Beyonce's). Also I did not say Gaga invented any of this. Just that Gaga used many of these for the first time in the mainstream world.

I already said that example was about bringing latex to public consciousness, latex fashion has been around for years :chica:

Ironically, including among famous celebs before 2011. In fact, Katy Perry (oops) was much talked about on fashion blogs for wearing latex all through 2010:
