I never understood people who get so much joy out of the suffering of others. Maybe you can explain what's so great about watching other people suffer because from my view, it's sick, pathetic and just sad. (btw I support Bernie but I'd say this to anyone who made a comment like yours)

A bunch of Bernie or Bust people that are pissed that their guy isn't going to magically give them free college or come in and erase their college debt (neither of which was ever going to happen) aren't "suffering". "The different stages from grief from anger to denial and everything else." The person I quoted said they enjoy seeing people go thru this and it's the best part of the election. That's pretty ****ed up if You're favorite part of our democratic process is the fact that other people are emotionally devastated. And yes, it is emotionally devastating to on someone's side since last ****ing July and come close and the Lose. Now you can throw some scenario about someone's worse off but you can do that to anything. My point was that it's unhealthy and just sad that one would get so much satisfaction out of watching other people meltdown, even if u find the reason trivial, you should still feel sympathy for that person. That's what decent people do, not enjoy watching it like a sick game.

However, until he's mathamatically eliminated, he has a slim path to victory and he hasn't presented it any differently. In the end, this is unrelated to my critisism of that member. Doesn't saying you enjoy watching people melt down over something serious like politics sound kinda ****ed up?

Doesn't saying you enjoy watching people melt down over something serious like politics sound kinda ****ed up? Well no I wouldn't say he has been honest. He keeps stating he has the national vote when he doesn't. He's against superdelegates but now he says they should switch to him. He keeps saying that the people are with him while ignoring the fact that he has lost significantly on all minorities etc.. It's not about him remaining in the race. It's about him continuing to go negative on the competition. Anyway, no I don't think it's right to enjoy people melt down regarding anything really, but considering how many people here (on both sides but mostly Bernie's from observation) don't even try to understand politics and treat it like a pop star stan war, then I don't see why such comments being taken any more seriously than someone saying they enjoy seeing Gaga fans melt down from a tweet. If you're referring to when he says he's ahead in some national polls, he's right 2. He's saying he deserves super delegates from states he won. Which makes sense. 3. This is too vague to comment, I'll need a specific quote. anyway, I remember when ARTPOP dropped and a lot of monsters melted down because of its commercial performance, I saw a lot of people saying they were really enjoying it and I equally disturbed by that. Whenever I see something written with so much hate in it, it just disgusts me. If someone on Bernies side wrote that comment, I'd have said the same thing. It just confuses me when people say stuff like that because I'm so empathetic to other people I can't really comprehend what could be enjoyable about watching people suffer. The only one that may be considered important is his odds against Trump, but that fails to take into consideration that he has been untouched by the GOP and is a virtual unknown. There was an article posted by Slate which explains the situation. Most importantly, he's behind on every single poll conducted with minorities. (t's massive. 80% of black people support Hillary for example). He claims to represent the people. In truth the only majority of people he is representing is young white males. He doesn't deserve super delegates from states he won. Those are not how the rules are made. The race isn't rigged. He was aware from the start. Superdelegates have been there for over 34 years. Changing the rules to accommodate him seems petty. The superdelegates are their own entities. They are not tied to the "will of the voters" on a state level. Even so they do follow the "will of the voters" on a national level because they clearly want to win the presidency. They decide on the basis of swing state performance and other such metrics that actually matter. This a fight against the Republicans NOT between Democrats. If there is a virtual tie (+/- 50 delegate difference) it's up to their discretion to determine who would be better. Hillary is ahead by 300 pledged delegates and 3.5 million voters. Aren't they representing the "will of the voters" already? If they didn't exist, she'd still win. She's ahead....by a lot. Even if Bernie was awarded the superdelegates from states he won, he'd still be far short from catching up to Clinton. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
