No clue tbh. In the eyeroll scene you can see a very clear bright white above her eye tho, covered by that massive eyelid. That's why I thought it was make-up with a fake eyelid/lashes added on top of it.

Hmm I do think think they could have  added more dramatic eye makeup for a different shot and just enlarged it when editing. I noticed they also edited her nose in the fire scene because in the behind the scene footage her nose was thicker. One of the editors along with Frances also have admitted in making gagas eyes more green in the shot where shes wearing the bat headpiece but they never realized discussed the big eyes.

It was a combination of circle lenses and computer effects wasn't it?  I think Michelle Phan's tutorial hit the nail on the head about it was achieved
