ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Sexist, Exceptionalist Daily strikes again If Hillary hadn't announced this and just did it, would ya'll still have the same ill-informed views about "equality" of the genders? She should've just not announced it and picked some women and claimed they were the most qualified; i bet tons of people would still find a way to call that "sexist" or "pandering" For one thing, even the idea of hiring the "most" qualified person is a myth; there will potentially always be a higher qualified person that is not offered a job, shes under no obligation to devote all of her time to search out that person, only to find out that they were not the "most" qualified compared to some other unknown person. It's like reaching into a bag and finding the "last" penny, only to find that there is always at least 1 more penny in the bag. Even if there was an absolute "best" candidate, she'd have to find numerous "best" candidates and the potential lack of women in these "best" possible candidates is not an instance intrinsically tied to gender but because of social conditioning, in reality there probably ARE in this situation "better" candidates than these "best" candidates who are turned away despite their excellence because of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. If Hillary personally thinks her cabinet members will be successful, gender will make no difference in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of her cabinet. Choosing women on the other hand DOES make a societal statement that is positive. It's a win win situation, the only possible loss is a bunch of people claiming she didn't pick the "best" candidates. Meanwhile, those same people will never say this about a male president picking an all male cabinet; surely he just picked the most qualified people and that just happened to not include women this time. Or the time before. Or before that. Then when asked why this keeps happening they easily believe the notion that women aren't in politics as much because "they just don't want to be!" or get into some bio-truth bull **** about women being naturally better at "being stay-at home moms" or that women are "just not natural leaders like men" It's just ignorance at the least, but at the worst its willful and stubborn as well 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
