Babel 41,431
I would say it has evolved from album to album but there's something familiar between: Poker Face - Bad Romance - Judas - Venus The song structure, vocals, harmonies, hooks and chorus are pretty Gaga. I can't tell of another singer pulling off one of these songs.

Kinsey 313
To me it isn't the genre, it is the style of music writing. She has killer choruses with large steps that reads very theatrically. ex: the way she sings the following....."cant read my cant read my" "im your biggest fan ill follow you until you love me, papa paparazzi" "ill turn the lights off" "im gonna marry the night im not gonna cry anymore" "we can be strong we can be strong" "im beautiful in my way" "dont be insecure if your heart is pure" the list goes on and on. huge range and tons of inflection
AlexanderLevi2 5,849
I feel like Bad Romance/Paparazzi/Dance In The Dark are her signature sound. Dark & sexy verses with soaring pop melodies over subtly dark choruses. Currently listening to Joanne
