LebaneseDude 6,146
Hillary Clinton fired off a tweet in response to news that Charles Koch might endorse her. CNN reports: Oil tycoon and conservative mega-donor Charles Koch had kind words for both Bill and Hillary Clinton in an interview Sunday, saying there was an outside chance he could support her in November. “We would have to believe her actions would be quite different than her rhetoric. Let me put it that way,” he said on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. “But on some of the Republican candidates we would — before we could support them, we’d have to believe their actions will be quite different than the rhetoric we’ve heard so far.” Earlier in the interview, Koch said Bill Clinton was better than George W. Bush on issues of economic growth and government spending but did not offer a full-throated endorsement of either Clinton. ---- Queen Edited just now by LebaneseDude. You wanna know the truth? Bernie Sanders couldn't get much done because the Senate and House are full of representatives who are bought and paid for. The bills he would need to sign to make change would never get to his desk. If you've followed Obama's presidency you know how true that is. Anyone who wants real change needs to be more concerned about their state senators and congressmen. Hillary Clinton could not veto the kind of bills that she claims to support - but she won't have to worry about that because that stuff will never get to her desk. Plug in, stupids. Well Bernie could pass executive actions to get money out of politics. Hillary would never do that. Is there any evidence she can even bring people together? I find scant evidence, she usually quotes a distant bill from the 1990's to prove she can work with Republicans. In her time as SOS she didn't really get any results that you would want a future President to.

In her time as SOS she didn't really get any results that you would want a future President to. I have a feeling you don't know what you're talking about. Executive actions? Do you think the president has the power to change the political sphere alone? Do you even totalitarianism? The president is not supposed to do that. Also what is the point of this? Hillary never claimed to be a magical bridge between Republicans and Democrats She's simply less partisan than Bernie is. The only bills Bernie ever compromised on were bills that everyone thought needed fixing. His biggest bipartisan accomplishment is the Veterans' Administration and that was just a ****ed up thing by anyone's accounts. She has worked with Republicans on DIVISIVE issues and that's something that Bernie has not done. Even still her voting record places her more liberal than Obama. Also let's not ignore the fact that Hillary actually wants to compromise with people to work on solving issues like big banks, healthcare, education, etc.. Things that actually divide the country. This is a stark contrast from the unwavering Colonel Sanders. Speaking of, why are you even bringing Sanders up? Can't you just talk about Hillary without bringing him up? It's like it's a ****ing drag competition for some of you. Both are vastly better than anyone else. Regarding your last statement, that's a load of bullshit and you know it. If you understood what the secretary of state does or has to do, you'd know that results are not as black and white as you're making them out to be. She implements OBAMA's ideas and even if she disagrees she does not have much leeway. Take it up with him. If you're going to quote Benghazi, let me remind you that international affairs hardly go smoothly, and the USA has lost over 120 personnel after WW2 in similar situations. Retrospect 20/20. Case in point: Just another day on the job. If you're going to quote the Arab Spring and many of its failures, let me point you to the fact that the results weren't due to a lack of effort on anyone's parts. These countries are just intent on ****ing themselves over. Case in point: You work WITH other people and if THEY don't cooperate then any results are NOT your fault. Interestingly you ignore all the good she has done, but I'm not wasting my breath. Look up her resolutions and efforts in diplomacy and you'd know she works hard to get **** done rather than bitch about it for 25 years as a glorified protester in the senate. Of course she MUST be bought if she's doing her job. Holy **** it's like anyone who isn't a rebel is a cog in the machine or something. In any case, if you think Hillary is faking it with this, then your bias is all the more apparent and hilarious. I pity people for being incapable of acknowledging the good in anyone who isn't their chosen horse. It is SO like millennials to be incapable of being on the losing side and being graceful about it. Frankly neither Hillary nor Sanders can get much done at the moment. You're right that the focus is on switching the House and Supreme Court from being obstructionist Republican-dominated institutions to progressive liberal ones. That's the main focus that many people, as well as Sanders, often fail to see and is exactly what's at stake here. People can't see past a fantasy dollar bill though Edited just now by LebaneseDude. People can't see past a fantasy dollar bill though Executive actions are indeed for rare cases when the system is broken. And those executive actions need to be able to pass a supreme court challege, and even before can be repealed by majority votes in both houses of congress. Look at Obamacare - the house has voted to repeal it almost 70 times. It barely survived a supreme court challenge. What do you think Bernie is going to do about that. And might I add, the majority of peoel who voted for Obama turned their backs on him when Obamacare was first passed. Support for it went below 30%. That's what really drives me nuts about these Bernie supporters - they show up for a presidential election and then when it's done, they go back to ignoring politics and watching conspiracy theories on YouTube. (Not all...but the majority) I'm sorry, but it's time to get real - and like I said, if you want change you need to focus on the senate and house. Until, you can support Hillary and then hold her accountable for her election promises. Entitled much. The problem for Hillary is that she has really bad judgement. Hardly anyone trusts her and in almost every position in public office she has had there has been a major scandal. She is going to enter the White House as damaged goods. No one knows what she stands for. Why is she running for President and yet refusing to release transcripts for paid speeches from just 3 years ago? She has very little in the name of record or achievements. She is always shifting her positions on issues and then when confronted about it she deflects and avoids answering. I don't even know if she would make it through one term because she will have scandals and her negatives are bad enough, they will not go up unless she achieves something incredible. What you're doing is repeating what the billion dollar republican attack machine has been selling for years. With her career there are going to be weak points. Now, stop for a minute and imagine what this billion dollar attack machine will do to Bernie? There's nothing new on Hillary. It's all out. Bernie would be destroyed by those people. Not for corruption, or anything like that - but for many many many other things. Hillary really is the best chance. We can't see how weak Bernie is yet, because Hillary can't attack him without it backfiring on her. One thing I know is that Hillary does not cope well when the heat comes on her. Like when she said "vast right wing conspiracy" over the allegations against Bill. She gets defensive and lashes out, and it doesn't end well.

There were literally hundreds of millions of dollars spent to use that to damage bill and the democrats.
