Prince Went By "Brother Nelson" Did Not Like Being Recognized

Facts emerge that Prince in that last years of his life liked to keep low key due to his faith

 

At his Jehova's Witness Congregation he went by brother "Nelson" his middle name and went he went preaching door to door he did not use his first name and avoided attention from being a celebrity

 

Additionally it was reported he did not like giving autographs or being recognized in last years of hos life. He kept his shows small and avoided tv interviews to avoid attention

Michael left that church sometime in the 80's I think  there were even rumors that he became a Muslim in the 2000's like Jermaine did but rumors are rumors :sweat:

My grandma became a Jehova Witness some years ago and it's not something that I like. They cought her in a very low moment when she was feeling so depressed and lonely because she's never believed in any religion but then it all started. It's caused many injuries between the family... They even tried to get me in by gifting me books, and their magazines with fake pictures of people around in south america and Africa building their kind of churchs... They even have DVDs... Glad that I never joined them, I kept laughing (I was like 9) when they started to tell me everything because it sounded too absurd...

Fake pictures? U mean illustrations? Theres a difference  

 

I have some family members that are witnesses and they are the ones in my family that are most trustworthy and nicest

 

so it cant be all as bad as what your saying

Yeah... Illustrations are usually put together...

 

I havent read a LOT of their stuff but ive looked at a few things

 

yes most poctures are put together, but they are used to try and make some point. They clearly arent trying to pass the off as real so its not fraudulent

I agree but religion is one of the most profitable organisations because sadly people buy into it.

I'd probably convert if Prince came to my door! I try not to bash people's views but like half my family are jehovah's witnesses and my kid cousin doesn't even get to celebrate her birthday. It's tragic. One day I'm gonna take her off on her birthday and have a secret party

Many witnesses know how to party hard within their boundries tho

 

Like they all know eachother. Sometimes at this Madisons pub I go to they show up in a group of 40-50 people at a time

 

you dont see them grinding at the dance floor but they can be pretty loud and you can tell they are rocking it

 

They dont celebrate many things but I know they are always doing stuff. At least the witnesses i know

I doubt Witnesses make money tho

 

they dont charge a percentage like catholic church. I went once to one of their meeting with my witness aunt and they have contribution boxes in corners where people donate voluntarity...

 

Also they must spend a fortune to print all their stuff and build all those new Kingdom Halls they keep building

 

Also their Ministers are not payed. They work like everybody else then volunteer some of their time to run the stuff

 

maybe im a little biased cuz i have witness family. But of all the religions they seem to be the least about money. Any contributons they get seem to be all spent in spreading what they believe in
