They did not know in any way what users uploaded to their servers.

But since Kim Dotcom was the owner of Megaupload, which got closed by the FBI and Hollywood, no bank wants to work with him so he can't pay for anything Mega related.

 

One other option may be BitTorrent, but it's not always encrypted and trackable by authorities/Hollywood.

I hope you find a way to transfer/keep them  Maybe it might be worth investing in an external hard drive to store all of your stuff in case you lose it all?

Google Drive may be reliable if you put ZIP files. I know someone who found 1989 on there.

Google Drive is fine. The upload service "MEGA" has underwent a hostile takeover, which means they cant guarantee files on MEGA will be safe.

In their End-User Agreement Google and the likes state that they may look through your stuff for copyrighted stuff.

But in 99% of the time nothing happens unless someone in Hollywood wants it to disappear.

And you've probably haven't made those mp3s publicly available, so you should be fine.

Just be aware that they could do something about it.

All of this because of very old and inadequate Copyright laws, no one really knows what to do.

As long as you don't share copyrighted things you should be OK. 

And if a service allows you to upload mp3s (like Apple Music, Google Play Music) they already knew from the start that people will upload copyrighted things there, but the companies just don't care and won't do anything unless they are told to do so. 

TL;DR

You can chill unless you share copyrighted stuff with others.
