I like it, still listen to Applause, Venus, GUY, Sexxx Dreams and DWUW occasionally. MANiCURE and Aura sometimes gets plays. Other than that, I actually listen to BTW more.

Back when it was released, I didn't like the ALBUM. I liked a couple of songs but not the entire album. I remember people going nuts over ARTPOP when it was released. Everyone on this forum loved it and said it was her best. I was feeling weird that I wasn't that much into it. Of course, as things started getting bad, fans started bashing the album as well for not being "good enough". The more it "flopped" like you guys like to call it, the more fans started throwing trash at it, just like they did with Born This Way.

Up until this day, I enjoy the album from time to time, I listen to the same songs and skip the same songs. It's an okay album.

Yet better than so many of her rivals' recent albums. Like Revival by Selena Gomez and Purpose by Justin Bieber which both received good response from critics are both inferior to ARTPOP imo. ARTPOP is way more ambitious and unique in terms of the melody, audacity of the artists and performance style.

1989 by Taylor Swift might be more successful than ARTPOP but still I see tons of people, including me who think that it's rather a safe, generic and basic record. I'm sorry but Blank Space, Shake it Off, Bad Blood, Wildest Dreams are really mediocre in comparison with the aggressive and euphoric sounds of Aura, Sexxx Dreams, Do What U Want, Applause, G.U.Y. and Venus. Taylor has become unwilling to take risks and followed the Katy Perry footstep, the thing is Katy actually makes music that is catchy and her visuals are usually consistently cheerful and entertaining.

I'm not saying you should always be as ambitious and wild as Gaga to be considered a great artist. Adele, The Weeknd, Rihanna and Zayn are examples I would say that are commercial yet have quality in their music.

ARTPOP is unappealing and most of the songs sound like noise. Aura sounds like noise besides the chorus. The album as a whole sounds like a collection of Born This Way rejects. Her competitors have been putting out more appealing music. ARTPOP is an awful album.

So appeal is everything you seek. Bye then.

If a song is unappealing I'm not going to listen to it. Isn't music supposed to sound good?

Since I have listened to it more than the double than BTW, I can say it's my favorite to date. It has inspired me a lot, I don't see it as just music, but as an explosion of rage and passion.

Mary Jane Holland, Aura, DWUW, G.U.Y  and Sexxx Dreams still slay my world. I just wish the era would have been better ejecuted in order to get more.

But ARTPOP does sound good. Gaga knows that, DJWS knows that and ARTPOP fans know that. Music is subjective yes but perhaps y'all should try to understand from the artist's perspective instead of dismissing it without putting effort in appreciating the beauty (which exists evidently) at all.

If the music is good then I shouldn't have to "put in effort" to like it. I have heard the album many times and it simply isn't good. It's a terrible album. Maybe y'all should try and get your own perspective of the album and let the music speak for itself instead of trying to look through someone else's.

I was disappointed when it was released, I expected more from an album called ARTPOP.

Vodka

Still love it. It's got some fun tracks.

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

I think that it is indeed very underrated, although it's her weakest album out of them all in my personal opinion, compared to the others. But that's always subjective ...
