Benji 20,113
Tensions are high at airports. If someone thought he was acting shifty then they'd report it. Obviously it was a mistake and handled badly but I don't blame them. There's tonnes of middle-eastern people in the U.K. so he was probably acting oddly. It's not like this woman would have never seen a middle-eastern man before or not have heard or seen Arabic. Let's not apply America's race issues and Tumblr's fantasies to situations like this. There must have been serious concern for them to remove him from the plane.

Hasan said: ‘It was very upsetting and humiliating. I have no idea who the woman passenger was or why she thought I was acting suspiciously.’ By this time the EasyJet flight had already left without him and he was shocked when he wasn’t offered a replacement flight. ‘It meant I had to pay hundreds of pounds for an alternative flight. I feel racially discriminated against. It is as if they have forgotten I am not only a customer but a human being as well.’ He was later reimbursed by the company and was given an apology. 3 minutes ago, Benji said: Tensions are high at airports. EasyJet treated him like ****. It takes one racist idiot to report someone for texting in arabic and that is enough to be a "serious concern" these days. I agree they treated him badly considering he did nothing wrong but there could easily be more to it. Everyone was removed from the flight and all the baggage was checked... That one woman must have raised a serious alert and there must have been some serious worry. It makes me believe there's far more to it. Plus, this article is just a rewrite of the original from the Daily Mail... which is hardly known for it's accurate reporting
