But in reality ARTPOP has more Trap than you think. First, MANiCURE is full of trap influence all throughout the song and specially its the end. Next, Applause"s beat is also trap influenced since its uses snare drums typical of trap drum beats. And finally both Venus and GUY have the typical trap sounding buildups that you find in most modern trap songs. So, my point is basically that people think Gaga wanted to cash in one trendy trap sounding song since at the time trap was rising to mainstream, but in reality Gaga included a Trap undertones all throughout the album. But I can't personally hear any of those described influences in the mentioned songs so I'm asking someone who says they hear it to expand. Is that alright with you?
