Gaga to perform the lead single at the Summer 2016 Olympics?

During this coming August, the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics will take place. They always invite artists to perform at the opening/closing ceremonies. And the opening ceremony is none other than Friday August 5, 2016. Perfect day to release the lead single & perform it there. I can't think of a better way to kick off the new era than to perform a brand new single at the world's most watched event. Don't believe me? The 2012 London Summer Olympics had 219.4M viewers in the USA alone (more than the Super Bowl) & over 900M viewers worldwide. That's 12% of the entire world population . Even better, the opening ceremony attracts the most viewers. This is the perfect platform to have her debut performance of the new era. Gaga & Bobby CAN'T miss out on this opportunity. It only comes once every 4 years. It's basically the worldwide Super Bowl Halftime Show. What do you guys think?

And even if she was performing, I wouldn't watch as I hate sports. unless I have a specific time she is performing, I wouldn't watch. I'd wait for HD vids on the internet.

If she performed at Brazil, I'd personally unstan for a bit....This is NOT the moment to support the Olympics as an event, nor the Brazilian government. Ifshe did perform, she better make some statements showing her support for the people.

Yes it is a great opportunity, but there is no way they would let Gaga use the event to promote her single, and I doubt Gaga would want to either. It's just not what the Olympics are about.
