Cody Draco 2,531
Thoughts? I know there has been a lot of negativity surrounding Interscope since 2013.
Gohan 16,099
I like it that they always want to maintain the artist's success, but at the same time they make crazy choices sometimes. tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

Quartz 11,923
Let the music speak for itself. I do agree Lana, Interscope is treating you right. You have no bad album so far. Honeymoon is addicting and I can't give any **** if you ain't A-list famous and apparently your label doesn't too. That's good, more freedom for you and more quality music for us Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Plus recording and releasing another album that was a part two to a "meh" received album wouldn't have been a good move. Lana's low budget on interscope (thankfully she doesn't need a massive budget) so she has far more freedom.

I think that is only good for successful very anticipated albums that can draw a lot of viewers/streamers even to non singles a la JB's Purpose the movement.

Interscope has gotten a lot of flack over the past few years from fans. I agree that Interscope is one of the best labels and imo the best major label. Why are you trying to pick a fight with someone batting for the same team?
GagaMyBlood95 9,883
I think Interscope is giving Gaga enough creative freedom when it comes to her music which is awesome. It's a totally different thing that they get to pick the singles. I mean, for example, Gaga loved Venus so much that she wanted to make it the second single, but Interscope made DWUW the second single - yes for the wrong reason, but overall a good decision since that song is a much better single choice than a song like Venus. So you see, sometimes, Gaga needs to step down and let some other people "decide" even though she is involved obviously. But what's really important is that they don't tell her: make this, make that, we want a song for the young audience etc.. They let her have her creative freedom and then discuss the record, which songs will make the cut, etc.. Which is FINE imo..
