LG5 to be the 'Album Of The Decade'?

Does anyone remember what Redone said about LG5 last year?

-“Right now I’m again working with Lady Gaga – it’s been a big thing for both of us,” he said.“We took a little break from each other and now it feels like we are in a good place, both of us. She did her thing, I did my thing, and it feels like we’re back on track together.

The 42-year-old producer revealed that songwriting sessions were taking place in Los Angeles, with the project likely to take up the rest of 2015. He also confirmed reports that disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder was involved in the project.

“With Gaga, I’m fully committed until we’re done – we’re just going to work on writing songs – 20, 30, 40 songs – until we get hopefully the best album of the decade,” he said.

“The new material feels great. And that’s what it is like with me and her – when we both feel great, it’s incredible. A lot of it is to do with trust, no ego, just love for the music. And when it’s fun and respectful, putting the egos aside, it’s magic.”

If you're a strong female*, you don't need permission :gaycat:

*applies to any demographic, gender, sex, race, sexuality, species, or planet of origin. As long as you love Gaga, you're right.

You're stinky

It's really exciting. You can just tell by Gaga' s confidence in her latest performances and how she's in such a great place that public opinion and fear of label and radio acceptance is just not a part of this album, that it is just her and great creative people working hard on the only thing that matters: the music. And this is when Gaga is at her best. This is how it was for Born This Way. ARTPOP was great sonically, but it was filled with so much rage and defiance and was focused purely on personal healing (which she really needed). In that sense it was an overwhelming album for both her and everyone else (but was still fantastic).

At first the 'album of the decade' thing to me seemed like hopeful fans (and there's nothing wrong with that). I know people will be doubtful because of the 'album of the millennium' thing with ARTPOP, but she was excited, probably stoned and to many, it is, not to mention how it will be appreciated and revered as an underrated classic years from now.

But with this album I can genuinely believe it has the potential to be the album of the decade, especially without her thinking it or expecting it or putting pressure on herself to be it. I"m a novelist, and I'll tell you that I feel about this album much like the end goal for foreshadowing is used in books: unexpected, but inevitable.

Something magical is cooking, so now I really don't mind the wait. Before I was getting caught up in unecessary hype.

And to those who are being pessimistic and responding to this thread with 'no. no way.' I think you're just trying to minimize your expectations so that if it's great it will be even better. All I'll say is, have a little more faith in her. Something brought you here, and lord knows she has faith in you.

If you don't have shadows you're not standing in the light.
