SISTERV 3,887
I knew they had more in common. I can't believe this, but Donald Trump came out and defended Bernie Sanders today at one of his own rallies saying the system is corrupt in response to the Colorado GOP Delegates cancelling the State Primary and their people's votes and giving their delegates to Ted Cruz. He compared it to Hillary stealing delegates from Bernie, saying Bernie fairly deserves to win the Democratic nomination and that the system is corrupt. WOW! Is Trump waking up? Siding with a democrat? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153471423806680&id=62317591679

But two birds with one stone? Maybe....but I detect no lies in what he said. The establishment of the parties changing their rules last minute post-primaries to swing things in a certain way is bad enough, but deliberately not holding a vote at all.....that's just an oligarchy. The delegates are meant to reflect the people, not the party bosses.

Bonkers 30,860
The truth is that the nomination process in both parties is not a simple question of getting votes. Trump and (to a much lesser degree) Sanders don't have their act together when it comes to running a campaign. Running a presidential campaign is major operation and it says a lot about how you'll actually be able to govern. While Trump has no experience in politics, Bernie's is pretty much limited to Vermont - a state the same population as Colorado Springs, or Winninpeg, or some other small city. 1/30th of New York State. While I'm sure it's because he thinks that Bernie is easier to beat, he's also doing it to sow dissent among Democratic voters. I love it when Bernie bots are believing what the GOP has to say about them now hahaha "Trump's policies are xenophobic, sexist, bigoted, and racist, but he just defended Bernie so he has good judgement. Trump doesn't have a history of fabricating lies. Nope not at all" Pick your allies people this is getting sad Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
