I hate it when dickheads like Kanye West think their truths are the only existing ones. Disgusting

I disagree entirely. Kayne was more famous at the time, especially in the U.S.

That's clearly not true... He was huge. He already had four successful and acclaimed albums before Gaga was majorly popular. He already had 10 top tens here in the UK before hardly anyone knew who Gaga was so it's not like it was just US-centric, either.

I think it's debatable to say Gaga is more famous than Kanye now. He's certainly more talked about now.

Honestly, cancelling this tour was a great thing for Gaga in terms of the progression of her own career. By embarking on the theater version of The Monster Ball instead of going with Kanye, she got the attention of Arthur Fogel (CEO of Live Nation) and the magic of the The Monster Ball 2.0 happened.

This is how she got from being bankrupt to banking millions on tour with Live Nation. :sis:

So glad it didn't happen, Kanye would hurt Gaga's image so much, Kanye is such a famous douche, but still a good musician

You are delusional. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are two of the most famous people ALIVE. "Normal people" know damn well who Kanye is.

To be 100% honest, I didn't know who he was until that Taylor Swift thing...and I didn't know the Kardashians existed until it became a "thing" to hate them :laughga: I'm still not entirely sure why they're famous...the Kardashians, I mean.

You're stinky

The Monster Ball wouldn't exist. At least as we know it. Think about it.

I'm glad she didn't collaborate with him because I would have never gotten the chance to experience the iconic and life changing Monster Ball

i thought she cancelled cos the rampant homophobia in the rap/hiphop community

edit: or was it a combination of homophobia, the taylor incident, and the expensive ticket prices.. i really cant recall where i read that but i read it somewhere soon after Fame Kills was cancelled?

It would have been but had it happened there would have been no Monster Ball at the time and no MBDTF for Kanye so it's probably for the best.

Although I also wonder had it happened if Gaga's career trajectory would have been less rushed. The Fame Monster era might have lasted longer had she not launched into the solo tour so quickly.

He's just saying the same stuff he said before. He's just using it now to stir up some conversation about him. Would it have been good if Gaga had toured with him? It would have been great to see what it would have been like. But if she'd done it, the MB probably wouldn't be what it became, so it was the right choice for her career. And at the time, it wouldn't have looked good for her to be associated with someone who was being dragged left, right and centre. Not to mention how much Taylor fans would have hated her and still would today (they're hardcore). But there's one thing I've got to say for Gaga - she sure has her integrity. She wouldn't support an artist because she felt he had humiliated another artist and that's not what she's about. Fair play to her, you wouldn't see that from most other artists, prepared tour or not.

That is not my point though. My point is simply that Kanye has been very well known since at least 2005.

Yeah, Kanye is famous. Hardly one of the most famous people in the world. And not nearly as famous as most of the pop girls.

He always thinks he's the victim when he hurts others or does something obnoxious. Poor Kanye. How dare he be held accountable for his actions? :smh:

Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.
