Gurl, KP had 2 massive hits during her last campaign (Roar and Dark Horse). Gaga didn't, she only served 2 decent-sized hits, one of them didn't even have a video. No surprise there.

 To me it's not depressing at all...most artists I like, and that I know for a fact deliver something way more special and substantial than that entire list PUT TOGETHER, are not on the list...so...and I'm not trying to diminish the importance of streams and popularity, congrats to everyone and the list and bless their fans' hearts...all I'm saying is that to me it doesn't really make a difference...

Worldwide, her last massive smash was BTW.

Then comes TEOG (big hit).

Then Applause, DWYW and Judas made a decent impact.

Yoü and I, despite being big in America, didn't really explode in the rest of the world...

And we all know that MTN and G.U.Y flopped for our sins.

I mean what i wrote  she had one hit in 5 years. Not a smash, neither a flop. A hit. Like Pillowtalk. It debuted high, then it fall, but it's still inside the top 10 because of longevity, and it will be the signature song from the era.

5 years ago it was Born This Way and it's a smash hit I mean 4M+ sales in the US alone, 10M WW

Well, this is the fifth year, that's why i said 5 years with only one hit. Actually, i could count since Nov 2011; MTN underperformed. And since LG5 will drop in Q3/4, those 5 years fit  My point remains unbothered
