This one instance shows lack of judgement? ...

Do you honestly expect her to have a crystal ball or something? Sometimes people make mistakes, even politicians.

At least she has experience.

Umm.. YES? Waging war with another country without actual evidence of wrong doing and then putting in a lead who massacred Sunnis in broad daylight is a little more grave and an oopsy doopsy woopsy poopsy don't you think?

And she only has experience f*cking up btw.

Well it wasn't her initiative to do all that was it? The war itself was wrong, but most Americans wanted it at the time. Retrospect 20/20. What happened during the war was not her fault.

LOLOL IT shows complete lack of consideration to the implications it would cause.

Some people make mistakes.....so we should just wipe this under the rug???

"At least she has experience." That is utter BS, experience doesn't give you a one way ticket to the white house, your actions do.. and hers are without a doubt shady.

It's not about having a crystal ball. You don't need to be a fortune teller to be able to come to the conclusions that Bernie did about what would happen in Iraq when Saddam Hussein was removed from power. He had the foresight. She didn't. That's a pretty big instance of lack of judgment, especially when you consider the trillions of dollars that war cost us and the thousands of American lives lost.

Um she's fully aware of the issues that arose. No one is saying one should wipe it under the rug. It should be used for future considerations.

Of course experience doesn't give someone a ticket. They're part of her appeal though, and that will get her to the white house if things work out her way.

But she was SoS while "pulling out" of the war! That was her initiative! She was in charge of the goddam State Department! And under her tenure, SHE selected Maliki to be the next Prime Minister of Iraq and then he murdered Sunnis in the streets and as a response ISIS was formed. She is a failed as disgraced public leader.

She selected him? She approved of him but it wasn't her choice alone. Do you think it was only her discretion?

Also she's not responsible for his actions after being chosen. That was a political backfire.

I'm not sure who the "you guys" is that you're referring to. I'm my own person and have my own thoughts and opinions separate of any group you're trying to lump me into. No one is talking about votes on trade deals right now. That's a discussion for another thread. I'm talking about her lack of judgement when it comes to foreign policy regarding the war in Iraq. Bernie knew EXACTLY what was going to happen. That wasn't just a coincidence. Proof can be seen here:

Nice try, trying to deflect from the observations I brought up in my original comment.  But my analogy still stands!!!  :koons:

She was not aware at the time! she even apologized for supporting the Iraq war after it happened! YEA future considerations that maybe it's not a good idea for Hillary to make judgement calls like this again. Im shocked you are so blind to the extent that this is forgivable.

Because it is? As I said, it wasn't her decision alone and the ramifications are not hers to blame. She had a part in it in the long run, but back then it wasn't exactly predictable.

Remember I'm from Lebanon. That kind of mistake is nothing compared to what my politicians do. I suppose I have a level of tolerance that exceeds yours.

There we go.

Lolol I love how your BEST defense of Hillary Clinton is "...well it wasn't ALL her fault..."

She definitely is responsible for his actions. I'm pretty sure a background check would have shown something that screamed "homicidal tendencies for religious minorities in Iraq", dontcha think?

:air: No one's deflecting anything. The comments you made are not on topic with this thread. This thread is about foreign policy and ISIS. And if you wanna play that game it looks like you just did the same thing by not acknowledging ANY of the points I made in MY post.
