It might be a result of poor breath support or low lung capacity.  Regardless, she definitely killed this performance.  Her voice really is improving with age which is amazing considering it's usually the other way around. Really! I also think her voice improved amazingly but I never have problems with the techniques but her tone actually. I don't think it's the most beautiful.
