Not every person in the country running for office can start a political "movement" like Bernie Sanders has... Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, especially with things like the Supreme Court being held in the balance. At least until Citzens United IS overturned anyway.... If Bernie can make it possible, others will have the chance to do the same thing.. maybe not everyone but it will give hope for alot of independent candidates and for people to know the truth about their government witch will make them listen to independent candidates more. If this happens, it might not end government corruption but it will sure challenge it. 3 minutes ago, En_Sabah_Nur said: Or maybe Gaga is from New York & remembers how great of a senator Hillary was for her state, or maybe because (like me) she grew up with the Clintons during the 90's & is familiar/comfortable with her & maybe that's why she supports her!!! Thats even worse to support a president of your country that will effect the whole world based on invalid emotional reasons.. being a hypocrite is much better. Considering that racial minorities and women have overwhelming supported Hillary while Bernie relies on white male voters, I think it's pretty unfortunate to imply that Bernie's supporters are somehow more enlightened and educated than Hillary's. Certainly says a lot about the kind of person who thinks like that. Except it's been show that Bernie has the highest demographic of college educated voters, not to mention he won Hawaii, you know, the least white state in the entire nation. Robo Ga 15,299
2 hours ago, hahahahahahahah said: listen, if you vote bernie or vote hillary it's almost the same god damn thing LOL. HONESTLY. listen to me when i say that the phenomenon of "we believe" (obama) is VERY similar to the one of "feel the bern." one must understand that there is ALWAYS congress to contend with and no matter a president's agenda, it can be blocked at every turn by the hundreds and hundreds of people who are in the pocket of oil, or plastic, or pharmaceuticals, wall street, etc. etc. pushing for their own agendas and who will vote against any bill Bernie will attempt to put forward. 2 years into bernie's term, should he be elected, i feel like people will be vastly let down in the same way they were with obama because they do not understand the nature of U.S. politics, that congress is a force to be reckoned with and that bernie is very similar to trump in the sense that they are both demagogues, pushing for policy that will most likely be killed while many believe hillary is untrustworthy (which she is in a way) bernie is suspect, too. i mean he has worked within the system for so long that surely he knows these things unless he is 1. delusional with hope 2. lying to the public (i doubt it) or 3. has some secret weapon that will allow him to convince these people, half of whom do not even believe in climate change and are generally for the rich, to back his policy. hillary is widely seen as untrustworthy (this is understandable) but ultimately her politics are the same as bernie's in the sense that she is pushing for what can realistically be pushed through congress and what i feel like bernie will in the end be relegated to because it is what is practical under the framework of U.S. politics today (and even then it will be a challenge with hillary because republicans hate her). were president bernie to create a bill with one of his very liberal ideas (very good imo, i love bern), i suspect it will be shot down in congress like a hang glider over the pentagon. bernie says to dream big and i agree it is a good thought but idk....when we look at obama's presidency and all the things he wanted to get done but couldn't or struggled very hard with because of congress ****ing him over, it really doesn't seem like these things bernie wants will become a reality, as if suddenly with the election of bernie the system will change. so it'll be bernie trying to push his policy through and being turned down and then adopting something less progressive, something similar to hillary. in conclusion, i wish obama could run for a third term because he would ****ing destroy all the candidates and leave pieces of them littered on the campaign trail for rodents to feed on. LOL Best post in this entire thread. 🤖⚡️

Well sorry to break it to ya, but that is how a lot of people vote in this country... Weather it be who they think is the most honest, the one they know or can have a beer with, or the one who they think can bring change! Everyone has their reasons, and just because their final decision doesn't match up with your's does not automatically make them less intelligent or not have studied up on the candidates or issues at hand... I do not believe Gaga believes that Hilary matches her values at all and I think she knows that. What Gaga has put out to the public matches up with Hillary. I don't care what you believe (have made up in your head) and neither does Gaga. Intelligent, informed individuals choose their candidate based on who matches up best with the issues they find to be important.

I'm not American so I can't vote but if I could I'd vote for Bernie because through his policies he genuinely seems to want the best for eveveryone. I mean you can't deny the corruption of the Clinton family (not that I think that will affect anything if she gets elected) but why not opt for the humanitarian? Or are you a rich bitch in the upper class? If you don't have shadows you're not standing in the light.

Or are you a rich bitch in the upper class? I WISH I was rich. I'm a construction worker just 15 minutes away from being on the clock. I actually liked Bernie a lot way before he ran for president. Now he's getting on my nerves... that's besides the point. Bernie would be a lame duck president from day one. No Republican will work with him AND many democrats are hardcore capitalists. Obama came in with supermajorities in BOTH houses of congress. That won't happen this time around ESPECIALLY since Bernie is not supporting Democrats down the ballot. So once again, his ideas will be repeated over and over and no action. He admitted as much in the NY Daily News interview. He has actually admitted to everything I've said. He truly is a great man (not recently) and keeps it gansta. But no thank you to more gridlock. Hillary is more moderate and will work together with Republicans to get things done; not necessarily a great thing but, nonetheless, that's the only way forward.
