I don't factor in seniority when it comes who should represent the Democrats. That's all. You are entitled to your opinion. Let some sunlight in. You are more than welcome to your opinion, and to base your vote on the issues and values you feel are important to you personally. What you did was try to deflect and insult on a personal level, insinuating that I would throw away my standards. Practice what you are preaching here and "let some sunlight in". If you take issue with that then deal with it. I'm not here to babysit your feelings. How about you defend your own candidate on the topic at hand rather than resort to this post. It's great you dislike her, but you can't claim intellectual superiority in a conversation while talking about a completely tangential topic. It's hilarious how you feel you MUST comment on EVERYTHING about Hillary when the topic is one specific discussion which you've consistently failed to address while using misdirection. Can't you suppress your anti-Hillary bias for a moment? Even as a Bernie supporter you must agree that he's using the Democratic party as a convenience. That's the topic. Agree/Disagree? Nothing about her entire record needs to be discussed. Our theme song I'll level with you. I don't have the hazmat suit necessary to go through your comment history, so I let you remain bitter in the corner. I'm content with my candidate, and he will make a great as president if given the opportunity. America will get whatever president it deserves tbh. Just don't complain when two conservative Supreme Court Justices are appointed and decide to take away your rights as a human being living in this country. This isn't stan wars. There is more at stake here than who is the bestest pop girl! I told you in another thread, most people who claim they won't vote are bluffing, unless they're genuinely stupid. There is too much at stake. MP isn't stupid. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

It's funny how I attempted to assuage the situation and you tell me "it's not worth it", while continuing to mock me when you are claiming to want a mature discussion. That's fine. The best way to do that is to not reply at all, of course people like you often like to get the last word in. Stop regurgitating what you've said before. I get it. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. It's the difference between guiding people down the stairs (Hillary) and pushing them off the cliff (Sanders). So no, degrees of progressiveness do matter in a discussion. Idealism is one thing. Application and pragmatism in what can be done is another. Stop talking in absolutes. Application and pragmatism is what got us in this current political climate. People are sick of nothing changing. Saying Hillary is the candidate with "realistic" ideas is why we'll forever have system that never actually fights for the entirety of its constituents. The status quo is no longer a viable state to be in. Hillary Clinton only promises more of that. Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

There is more at stake here than who is the bestest pop girl! Lol at the "pop girl" comment I'm not one of those. But as time passes I grow more distant from Clinton. Trump vs. Clinton.... ugh. I know Clinton is the clearly the best choice but it's come to the point where I dislike her so I'm conflicted. I know everything that's at stake. She better step it up in the general. I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I'm still developing my own political stances and I consider myself independent so to see Democrats coming at each other like they are now really turns me off from the entire process tbh. This is how every election has been for centuries. I know you watch CNN. Have you watched any of the segments of the Race for the Whitehouse series? You will see that this process has been going on for as long as elections have been held. The Republicans and Democrats always come at each other in their party during the nomination process...and then they will come at each other when they get to the general election. Obama and Clinton ran extremely negative ads against each other, but then Hillary threw her full support behind Obama when the Super Delegates decided to vote for him. (That's right, he didn't get to the number of pledged delegates needed) She stood behind the Democratic Party, because she understood the importance of having a Democrat in office, instead of a Republican. Born To Slay 10,996
As a Bernie supporter, I agree with Hillary here. He's hardly a real democrat and he should be helping other democrats (or at least other liberals if he doesn't think the dems running for congress are liberal enough) running for congress get elected. I understand however that he needs all the help he can get because he's behind delegate wise. Hopefully, he will raise money for the others after he gets the nomination (if he gets it). The status quo is no longer a viable state to be in. Hillary Clinton only promises more of that. What are the biggest issues of the day? Immigration? LGBT rights? Unemployment? What got the USA in the current political climate was ideological zealotry spurred by a traumatized populace, thanks to 9/11 and the like. That's coupled with the fact that the USA is facing a huge cultural shift and a focus on social welfare thanks to the advances of social media. Religious liberty, a "right" that MANY Americans espouse, is being reformulated and readjusted. Then there's the economic crashes that happened because of REPUBLICAN economic decisions that are being reverted by Democrats as we speak but thanks to gerrymandering and stalling due to a Republican owned house, the process is slow. What are you talking about? You're just blithering rhetoric without even applying facts. The issue isn't the status quo. It's a rapid shift in ideologies. That's like... the complete opposite of what you're saying. Americans are TOO comfortable and that's where all the bitching comes over the dumbest of things. Everyone wants a college degree. Everyone wants the newest ipad. Everyone wants everything. Your consumerist society is destroying itself, and frankly Bernie's plans are going to make **** worse not better. Not gonna get into it here. You want the USA to head in the direction of revolution? Talk about ignorance. You talk about change as if you even know what that means or what it entails. It's hilarious how many Americans are oblivious to the realities in their comfortable life. Just look at what is happening in the world, and spout "political" change as if it's something that STABILIZES a country when it's anything but. The USA needs to stop shifting. That's what it needs. Just look at what happened in the Arab Spring. Just look at what's going on in Sweden, "the socialist utopia" that is failing. Look at Greece. Learn your lessons and stop trying to radicalize everything and revolutionize everything. Progress is RARELY done through revolution. It takes time. Something that many of you fail to see. Hell even Hillary has failed to see that some times. At least her current positions have mellowed out. In any case I've said my part. Feel free to revolutionize on the Internet. Viva la revolution!
