Like someone said earlier, we are basing our opinion of Michael on almost 40 years of his career. We've only known Gaga for about 8 years, and I strongly believe her best is yet to come. Michael Jackson is clearly the better dancer, there's no question. But when we look at singing talent, I think Gaga wins. Her voice is one of the most versatile I've ever heard. She can literally sing any genre she wants. Maybe Michael could do the same (I don't know) but I highly doubt he could've done a semi-operatic Sound of Music medley or sing a jazz standard sounding almost like Ella Fitzgerald (yes, there are very brief moments on the Cheek to Cheek album where Gaga sounds just like Ella.) We could probably sit here and do a more in depth analysis but who has the time for that Anyway, I do think Michael was a legend in every sense of the word but I don't think his level of talent is unachievable by Gaga. There will never be and there never can be another Michael Jackson but it's not fair to say that Gaga can never be as legendarily talented as he was.
