Hexxx 2,244
It's possible that some of these duets are probably for separate projects. Not just LG5. Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko
AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,734
Everyone needs to RELAX. I don't care if there is dance music as long as there is good music
Harry 26,836
Well yes it's been implied that it won't be dance/electronic, but that doesn't mean there won't be uptempo tracks. Of course there will be some ballads, but Gaga hasn't ever released an album full of songs that are the same. They all have uptempo, mid-tempo and slow paced tracks, and I doubt this is going to be any different. Just because something isn't uptempo, dance and electronically based, doesn't mean it isn't pop. Pop as a term covers a wide range of styles. The only thing she has released that isn't pop is C2C. Yes TIHTY is a pop song. Also the confirmed collaborators for this album are not exclusive to slow/ballad type songs, either. RedOne and Nile Rodgers specifically are probably the opposite of that. And Mark Ronson really isn't known for slow songs lol. Sure he has produced some, but... Uptown Funk, Valerie, Bang Bang Bang, Locked Out of Heaven etc say hello. He's extremely versatile. Jesse Pinkman 4,660
No one is here for Gaga releasing an album full of ballads. People want to hear her release great pop music. That's it. That's why ARTPOP wasn't well received because people weren't here for the noisy EDM. Anyway, Gaga and Bobby have both confirmed that the album will be pop, and all of the producers are known for dance music. I do believe we will hear a few ballads, but over all the album will be a retro pop bop. It's science, bitch

Sister 9,907
This is very interesting and I would be highly interested to hear Lady Gaga do this. Gaga does need some growth in her music and she is highly capable of achieving greatness and still sounding involved in this current period. I think that it is only up to herself to push herself. I feel like others would just take the same Gaga sound as always and think that that alone is enough, just to simply make money and stay in the game. "Elton John saying that he heard two songs and they "aren't complex but great songs" and compared the album to "Gaga's own version of 'Tapestry'" which is a Carole King's album (Which is far from being dance music). " The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Reidstar 321
NOT here for Gaga to do this new trendy mid-tempo stoner trappy **** like Rihanna, Zayn, the Weeknd and every one else is doing (don't get me wrong a lot of it is good but my point is THAT is the current trend in music and I don't want her to conform to that) I personally think LG5 will be a well rounded album that truly sticks to who she is. I think she will explore maybe some new genres with rock or disco elements for a few songs, maybe a few more ballads, stripped down production, but as a whole she will stick to dance pop (not neccesarily EDM) but synth pop like The Fame/Fame Monster and BTW. The main thing to remember is ARTPOP was very beat and DJ driven where she just wrote lyrics and melodies to pre-existing productions that Zedd and Madeon and DJWS sent her. (I'm not saying they weren't collaborative) But her previous albums she composed many of the instrumentations too - I think she will go back to that writing style (which is why it's taken longer) and HER VOICE will stand out more above the music like it did on Cheek to Cheek. However, Elton didn't compare it to Tapestry he said she should make her own Tapestry. But I'll be happy with whatever she puts out, I love her in general with everything she does. Poot 719
commercial edm music like ARTPOP sucks anyway, im hoping she goes on a more creative route. but not here for boring piano ballads
Delulu Rogers 7,296
Didn't she say tho her gaga side was resting up for this album? So i think we'll get dance music. Also she really needs a simple, catchy song to become mainstream again anyways. Also, i can't find this interview but didn't she say simething like "people want songs like poker face and bad romance, and i'm happy to give them that" Does anyone else remember this???
