Remember when she said the Gaga side of her is resting up for LG5? I think she'll have uptempo songs on all her albums, no matter how old she is. It's her signature sound. Besides, her name is Lady GAGA. That name doesn't belong to an Adele-like singer. Also, Elton kind of confirmed it when he said one of the tracks sounds like Bad Romance. Have you even seen some of the producers she's working with? There is obviously going to be some pop bops... Where did he say a song sounded like Bad Romance? On a Beats 1 Radio interview in January 2016. “I’m writing with Gaga tomorrow, she’s doing a new record. I’ve heard two songs which are killer, they’re just great songs, it’s like back to the early stuff of hers: ‘Yoü and I’ and the Bruce Springsteen one (as I always call it), ‘Bad Romance.'”
Bloody Matt 5,357
This is sooo overanalysed that my brain hurts You guys go way too deeply into her statements. And btw you already made a thread like this some time ago. No need to repeat yourself. Just wait for the album to come out
Luxe Ford 3,481
It's going to be electronic pop. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
Impostor 4,114
Don't be delusional. Of course we are having dance. The point is how this dance music will be.
Guest ARTPOPSlays
Elton never said it was like Tapestry, he said he wants Gaga to make her version of Tapestry. I'll be happy with whatever she puts out though! She also said that she writes her songs on the pink first, just like all of her pat albums exempt for most of ARTPOP. ChvVolk 2,422
It can be like Solomon Grey, electronic beats, real instruments but sung like ballads
notamember 667
I think it's going to be VERY disco. I Want Your Love was probably her giving us a taste of what is coming. Like Stache....sorta.
Music 15,215
i hope Elton is correct in the lyrical depth Tapestry contains - since King's words are so integral and emotional. i really don't know what to expect from LG5, obviously Gaga has kept a lot of things secret - besides a few collaborations etc.. for me, i'd love her to compose some killer piano-driver ballads (i think there is a minority here that want this also, haha). just some honest and relatable lyrics too, similiar to King's Tapestry. reading many comments on YouTube videos and articles, people always comment on how Gaga's music doesn't represent her vocal abilities; so i'm here for something that can really validate her position and legacy in the music industry. nevertheless, i definitely have 'Room In My Heart' for LG5

All he said is he heard 2 songs from the album which sound like badromance and you & i , he said nothing about this album gonna be ballad.
Lord Temptation 11,209
Couldn't be bothered reading this mess of a thread. But allow me to just make one thing clear to all you who doubt or want to argue about Mother Monster. Each time Gaga releases a new album the Lady has but one mission. To radically change the definition of pop. She did it in 2008, then again in 2009, massively in 2011 (which was unavoidable if you happened to be human), 2013 (which got ignored) and then in 2014. If you consider each album a singular statement, then what we have is an unfinished dialectic between the superstar, her fans, and the ones that stand in the way. LG5 will be exactly like her previous albums in a certain sense. But in a more personal sense, it will be completely unlike anything she's ever done before. Genres are just labels. Dance music has existed since the beginning of sound and human movement. To some people, all music make you move. Please don't try to predict a person's art because you think you understand the artist. An artist is always trying to discover herself.

XoXoJoanneGaga 629
I don't know why Gaga fans are so obsessed with dance pop, which is such a confining genre for an artist with so much potential to be boxed into and is generally one of the more lowbrow forms of music, and which dates at a pretty fast pace. All I can say is please listen to more music lol
This is K 21
Hopefully it's not true but let's be honest I think no one here can imagine Gaga in crazy outfits or performing her Pop hits again
