Ronlop 6,882
You never know with Gaga which is why I hope I'll be surprised. However, seeing it as it is now- everything is pointing at LG5 being an album full of ballads or mid-tempo songs. I really doubt we'll get dance songs this album or any bops actually. -Gaga's comment in 2014 on Howard Stern's show - "I'm going to be able do it that with all of the changes in my life." when asked about going on a simple tour "without all of the costumes and bullshit (according to Howard Stern)". -Gaga's image changing throughout 2014-2016- Lets be real here, can you really imagine her performing and dancing to choreography again? -Elton John saying that he heard two songs and they "aren't complex but great songs" and compared the album to "Gaga's own version of 'Tapestry'" which is a Carole King's album (Which is far from being dance music). He also mentioned that ARTPOP is a mistake and that "Gaga would admit that". ARTPOP is essentially an EDM driven album so I don't think we will get to hear EDM on LG5. -Working with Mark Ronson. Other than 'Uptown Funk', Mark Ronson is mostly known for slow-tempo, mid-tempo songs. -Posts mainly videos of her playing the piano. -Her ignoring interviewers when asked about the new pop album. -Confirmed song 'Room In My Heart' with Elton John. It's pretty obvious this is a ballad and the fact Elton John wrote it should only prove it even further. -Doesn't mention pop music at all and claims that her goal with the new record is to write songs that will heal people. Same definition she gave to 'Til It Happens To You' (which isn't a pop song as you already know). I feel like there is a perception here that Gaga is going to deliver an album full of timeless bops like she used to back in 2009-2013 but not even a single thing she did in the past three years is even close to point that LG5 will indeed be a pop album. Bookmark this thread because I predict alot of disappointed fans. Damn, I wish I'm so wrong about all of this.
Cheap thrills 1,282
But why else would these producers be working on the album RedOne, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson

PunkTheFunk 124,467
Giorgio Moroder is practically the king of disco music... I highly doubt she would've enlisted him for a TIHTY-esque ballad

Gaga's previous albums are no where close to the usual music Nile Rodgers creates which is not necessarily a bad thing. However, it's not going to be dance music or EDM. When was it confirmed 100% that Giorgio Moroder is contributing to LG5?
Edonis 28,950
Lmao sucks when the disco King himself Giorgio is on there. Going to throw off the whole "ballad only no more dancing at concerts small venues only and sitting down on a chair and slurping some water" concept. And I'm not see I've heard Nile's ballads. Do fill me in on those 🤔

GANGIE 5,420
To be honest I don't care if the album is full of ballads or dance influence. I just want new music. That's all TONIGHT I WON'T WEAR MY DISGUISE
Iwontell 7,312
As much as I wish she took a more serious and profound route, I doubt she won't put at least 2 or 3 dance songs (or "bops", if you want God to hate you) in the album. She says she doesn't care, but I think she wants to do well commercially and it's basically impossible to do be successful in that sense without having a couple of dance songs in the album...unless you're Adele, of course... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Robo Ga 15,299
What about that time someone tweeted "I love the Lady but where's Gaga?" and Gaga responded "she's resting up for the next album."? This gave me the impression that she planned to return to dance pop. I agree that she will probably have more mid tempo and ballads (which, personally I LOVE) but I really think she'll include dance tunes too. She originally is a dance pop artist and I don't think she will completely stray from that because she never has in the past (other than C2C obviously) 🤖⚡️
