If tributes make an artist relevant in 2016, then idk what to say. Her last studio release was in 2013, 50% of the GP didn't know that she exist anymore, untill she had to remind them with tributes such as (Sound Of Music, David Bowie, SuperBowl & etc) Gaga used to be relevant back in 2008 untill 2011. I'm not trying to say that #1 hits make an artist relevant, but that's part of the game too. I just really hope that this time everyting will work out with LG5, and that she will be able to get back the title of 'Lady Gaga' who actually used to be huge force in the music industry. Britney is probably 1/10th Gaga's level of fame in 2016. Especially after February. Britney was 100x more famous than anyone else in 2001-2006 however, so it's not shade. Careers have peaks. Bad Bromance 5,809
Because of Gaga's immense talent, I don't consider her a pop girl anymore. I see her as a well-rounded musician who shines in any music genre. In my opinion, it's kind of offensive for someone as talented as Gaga to be categorized with all of the other pop girls. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Do you even like Gaga? Sounds like you're just trying to make her look bad and assert that she isn't a main girl lol. You said in the OP you want everyone to state their opinion but sounds like you're doing all you can to refute an opinion that isn't yours. I mean... where did you get the 50% figure from? That's an interesting statistic and I would love to see your source. Tributes, national anthems or not, just a month ago she was exposed to probably the biggest television audience out of any musician in the world by appearing on three of the biggest platforms. #1s aren't everything at all. Bearing in mind she didn't have a #1 during TFM era. Taking it back to your example of Britney, her last album was released in the same quarter as ARTPOP and did considerably worse, failing to produce any hit singles. Since then, what? She had an underperforming single with Iggy Azalea and has had a run in Vegas. Whereas since that quarter in 2013, Gaga has gone on not one but two international tours, had her #1 album with Tony Bennett that was promoted on many major TV shows, won a Grammy and been nominated for another, starred in American Horror Story and won a Golden Globe, released TIHTY and was nominated for an Oscar, won Billboard's Woman of the Year award and has had several high-profile acclaimed performances at huge events - both the Grammys and Oscars two years in a row plus the Super Bowl NA performance, for goodness sake. Yet Gaga is less relevant? Clearly Gaga is not as big as she was five years ago, no one is denying that. But saying she's irrelevant and no one knows she exists when she has been involved in so many major projects over the past couple years is completely ludicrous So yes, as I said before, with all that considered she is so much more than a 'pop girl', and thank goodness. She's had success and earned respect in other fields that the others can only dream of. Hopefully she has mainstream pop success again with her first major release since ARTPOP. My question was if you consider her still as a main pop girl, then i clearly said who i consider as a part of that group, Britney was there, even though if her last album 'flopped' she still did more than Gaga, and also achived more than Gaga, i couldn't agree with you when you said that she isn't one of the main pop girls or that she doesn't belong there. However, no one outside the US follows (SuperBowl, The GRAMMYs & etc) Gaga might took the spootlight at least in the US with these performances, but that doesn't make her more relevant or unrelevant. I do respect your opinion, but i can't agree with some thing that you have said. Unless she makes music as she used to do, people will consider her as a 'flop', i think that she dedicated to much time for tributes & side projects, things that doesn't really affect her career in terms of music. Britney's career is older than Gaga's. If we go with this criteria than Gaga could never release a successful pop album again and I could still put her above other popstars just because she's older and thus, "accomplished more."
