There's no doubt that she's in the process where she's trying to recreate her image, with tributes, pefromances such as The Sound Of Music, David Bowie & etc, and we can see that half of the GP has seen the 'good side of gaga' which is her talent, but what happens next? She hasn't released any new material since 2013. its been 4 years, from that era and she only released 2 music videos, which is bad for name such as Lady Gaga in the music industry, she had 'weak sales' if you actually compare it with her previous albums. No new album details available. In terms of streaming she's one of the weakest performers out there, for example we have Ariana's 'Dangerous Women' Audio on VEVO which outviewed Gaga's Venus promo single in 5 days, we have Meghan Trainor music videos where she clrearly outviewed half of Gaga's videography, not to mention names such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and even Fifth Harmony. PS. I'm so positive that Lady Gaga will break her limits with LG5 when it comes, to streaming and views. I want you guys to express your opinion on this thread as a simple person who follows the music industry, not as Gaga Fan. The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in.. ATRL/stan culture or whatever seems to have varying definitions the term and their criteria is often disparate to each user and doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things because they tend to base things on complete minute details that are niche knowledge that the public doesn't disect nor care about. Gaga's demographic has grown up and doesn't necessarily spend all day watching videos, streaming stuff. And that's ok. You bring up DW (I love Ari!) but it's not doing that great with sales even though it's promo video was viewed so much. Same could be said with Zayn (who isn't a pop girl but has a huge online following). His album was hyped by his online stans but only sold around 115 K. That kind of stuff doesn't matter when it comes to being a main pop girl. If your name is known and people still consider you relevant, you're a title in pop music.
