Maybe she'll mention it in her rumoured upcoming documentary and she didn't want to break the silence. She'll come back for us at some point. Now it's kinda sad.  Or Bobby just taught her to hate us and don't pay attention anymore.

That makes sense but its still weird to me. This gift was created collectively by her biggest fan site and personally given to someone who works for her. It Wasn't just like mailed to her house or something. Remember Emma said she doesn't go on this site anymore because of the negativity in 2013? I wonder if she is mad at us and doesn't want to feel attached to us anymore.

Gaga doesn't really talk to us anymore so it's not surprising In the past couple years the only time she really interacted with us was when she got us all to promote TIHTY for her on twitter, then she went back to not talking to us again.

Maybe she might want to stop herself from saying too much about the album, who knows? But not thanking GGD for the birthday gift was shi**y.

I... didn't know she kind of stopped interacting with GGD. Huh. I mean, she was never super involved with us, but I remember her meeting some members constantly, like Emma and some others.

Though, to be fair, that was years go, and it's more or less a testament of how much less active I am on here than before. Huh.

I am really disappointed in so many of you that you feel entitled to a thank you from Gaga. I am sure she appreciated it, but she is under no obligation to have to make a grand statement about every gift we give her.

A gift should be selfless. Don't give someone a gift if you are expecting something in return.

I'm sorry that we all conform to the norms of social interaction? Do you not say thank you to anybody when they give you a gift? It's normal to feel let down when your gift doesnt appear to have been appreciated.

If it was given to her in person and she didn't say thank you, that would be a bit different. We have no idea what exactly happen and people are just making negative assumptions.

She is a major pop star that receives gifts constantly. I am sure she only thanks for a small portion of them. Would you say thank you for each and every thousands of gifts you'd get? Probably not, but I'm sure you'd appreciate them.

Do you really think that many gifts are delivered to her through her manager though? I doubt many fans would be able to coordinate all that. I'm sure she gets a ton of fans letters and stuff is given to her on stage. But there is no confirmation she ever recieves that stuff. Basically, I don't think she gets many gifts that are given to her in this organized way. I feel like fans who give a gift in this way are therefore more deserving of a simple "thank you".

Even though I didn't partake in the making of the gift, it still saddens me that we never heard back from her or her team. So many members put a lot of work into it and it's disappointing she never said anything. If it's true that she's ignoring GGD due to the negativity in the past, then that's just plain immature on her part. The majority of active users today weren't even around back then, and most of the 2013 users are long gone. I doubt thats the reason though, I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation why we never heard anything.
