Whats wrong with her attitude?

When I met her she was extremely nice.

+ she did do this

nicki.gif

She dissed Lil Kim right from the beginning because she was threatened by her, calling her old and washed up (ironic considering Kim isn't that much older than her). She was really rude to Mariah when she was on American Idol, with Mariah confirming her hurt feelings. she's always stalked around with an attitude, thinking she's bigger than she is. She walked out of the Grammys when she didn't win anything for Pink Friday. She did the most arrogant interview called Press Conference, on a bonus itunes track of Roman Reloaded.

There's also this video for more. Some aren't as bad as others, but 0:50, 1:49, 2:40, 4:11 and 5:02. are the worst.

I just can't deal with people like this. Then she has the audacity to say it's sexism to complain about her. That may be true in some cases, but I don't like the attitude in anyone, male or female. She's surrounded by yes people. Of course she's nice to her fans - she's only nice to people who suck up to her.

Yes. Onika slays. The Pinkprint >>> some of your faves album, sorry not sorry.

Moment 4 Life is such a bitter sweet song for me. I find myself crying to this masterpiece on struggling and depressing nights.

I hope you calling Anaconda one of 2014's most beautiful song is a joke :green:

I've been following Nicki since before she had an album out. I started to like her bc she is different and her rapping skills are very good. I still believe this to this day. I'm a fan.

I didn't like her desperate outfits copying someones style..... And I didn't like her go blonde and earn millions by making basic pop songs. BUT at the end of the day the music industry is hard, and something had to be done. She's talked about this before, that she knows many early fans didn't like that, and also the reason for her to go back to more "normal" Nicki with The Pinkprint. I'm just glad she's over with the need to be liked by the GP. What I liked about this is that she always made room for both the pop songs and rap songs, so I was able to listen to good Nicki songs by listening to the album, while the pop singles were on the radios.

Not sure if I answered your question :toofunny:

No. How would anybody be taken seriously with songs like Roman Holiday, Come on a Cone, Stupid Hoe & Starships?

It's not so much her attitude as much as her selfish, shallownish, and confidence vibe.

I don't really see that at all. She seems like a genuine soul and just cares a lot about what she does. I've never thought of her as selfish in any sense.

Is this a joke?  Anaconda, really?  Are you aware that song is a complete rip-off of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" that was created in 1992?  Give your ears my condolences...

its called a sample love

Honestly, she will be remembered as a legend. I used to discredit her but that's because I lived in white middle class America and thought rap was what "bad kids" listened to. I honestly thought rap was dumb. Then I got a culture shock and I actually love rap/hip hop now!!

Nicki verses are events and usually the only part I listen to when she is featured. She cares about her craft.

Also, Nicki doesn't think Anaconda is a song for this generation. She realizes it's a fun/club song. You guys need to stop using that as an example of what she thinks is the epitome of music...

Tea. They go around and attack Nicki's artistry but don't realize that she has a plethora of serious songs in her discography that she herself has said that she'd rather be remembered for.

Too bad this forum can't do a simple google search.

Yes she is an artist within her own right, and she is the queen of rap right now. As far as overall emcee skills compared to female rappers before her time such as queen latifah, the real Roxanne, mc lyte, da brat, foxy brown, lil Kim, missy Elliott, Eve, remy ma, salt n Peppa and so forth. She wouldn't make my top ten list for greatest female rappers of all time.
