Taylor is wearing it on his right hand tho...

Wedding rings are commonly worn on the right hand in spite of engagement rings which are normally worn on the left.

im sure its on the left hand, but it depends on the country. USA and western countries usually wear the wedding and engagement ring on the left hand. but gaga is italian so who knows

They could've done a private thing and then officiate later in a ceremony.

They're cute nonetheless.

She would do this and I do not blame her. It would be a sweet secret, if so.

this isn't a common practice in america. most people wear engagement rings and wedding bands on the left hand

That's fine, but maybe get to know the person before getting engaged, no? Also, Gaga and Taylor had been dating for 4 years before they got engaged, so I'm pretty sure they knew each other pretty well by then.

Yes, lots of my friends have dated for 5 years and are going to be engaged for 2 years. Especially in your 20s, people change almost monthly. And marriage shouldn't be rushed. You could be the best couple in the world, then get engaged and move in together and not work when you are living together. OR some people think differently once they get engaged, maybe they become complacent and if you can't work with that then marriage probably won't work. What's the rush to get married??

Honestly, my ideal situation is to date for 5-6 years, have a 2 year engagement and then get married.

I agree, it's just that usually, people are more in a rush to get married. Which is probably why most marriages don't last.

Of course she's done it in private, she doesn't want a big ceremony where the paparazzi flash the cameras
