Palestinians remove israeli flag from memorial place for brussels

"This is the shocking moment a woman removes an Israeli flag from a Brussels memorial and rips it up, before hiding the pieces away underneath another flag.

A French-language station captured the footage at the shrine set up at Brussels’ Place de la Bourse. During the clip, which is just over one minute long, a woman wearing a hijab, a brown coat and a scarf picks up a Palestinian flag from the candle-lit vigil and takes it over to an Israeli flag

This shocking video is not the only time an Israeli flag has been tampered with at the memorial.

Another clip shows a man, wearing beige trousers, a black hooded jacket and gloves, walking into the middle of the candle-lit memorial.

He picks up a Palestinian flag and places it over the Israeli flag so it can no longer be seen.

Why is the title "muslims" and not two Palestinians? They obviously don't represent Islam. Titles like this are the reason for the bad reputation of Muslims.

Worse things are happening. I will never ever feel sympathy for pro-israelis anyway.

That's already a very horrible argument.

Worse things are happening in the WORLD yet you look at Israel only? That's rooted in antisemitism or lack of knowledge. One of those...choose.

Because this has nothing to do with their religion and more with their nationality.

Nah, i'm not looking at Israel only. I'm just saying that this video isn't that shocking and that there are far worse happenings wround the world atm. And I also don't really feel bothered for it since i'm very pro-palestina. That's what I said, don't distort my opinion.

That's why it's okay to destroy people mourning right?

Also, just because worse things are happening doesn't mean you need to ignore them.

I can already understand you're very Pro-Palestine but you saying you have no sympathy or even a desire to listen to Pro-Israelis won't make #FreePalestine come to fruition.

So just one tip! Change your attitude.

you must be very very specific in your statements on here or people just assume you were generalizing

title should be: These two muslims,  who do not represent all muslims because hey are good peaceful people and definitely are not all anti-semetic,  place palestine flag over israeli flag,

kinda long i know :emma: but maybe you could try to make it fit :laughga:

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

Nope, that's not an okay concept. Still, what I'm saying is that this is literally a fart in space. It's not news worthy. This feud has been going on for centuries and as long as people are as strongly opninionated like you and me it's not gonna end either. But I'm fine with that, a little bit of debate makes a good conversation right?

Ok sure as a half palestinian person who's been fighting about this for several years of my existence on earth with everyone from friends to teachers I'm suddenly just gonna change my values and my "ATTITUDE" towards the situation! Nah, listen, I respect that you guys are nice about it. But not everyone is, and sometimes the attitude comes in handy like a defense mechanism. It's not easy to stand up for something you love without germinating anger and an "attitude" like this. I'm sorry if it's offensive!

Do you really think it's that different for Jews in the diaspora?

Of course not, but let's not dig deeper into this. I'm totally fine by knowing your opinion and you knowing mine.
