Will integration never happen in Europe? If the EU and governments there could get people working, give people a little prosperity, something to aspire to, they'll be less focused in the differences among culture which becomes widely apparent with poverty and huge gaps of disparity and scarcity. Europe should capitalize on the new potential labor, since the decreasing population and low birth rates would stagnate economic growth since new homes or products would sell less, however, with immigration, however it comes gives Europeans challenges and yet opportunities to work towards to compete in the global market.

Jews, Muslims, Christians, atheists, and other cultures alike can participate while respecting differences and protecting heritage.  Though America struggles with this sort of thing when you look at politics, you don't see the small pockets of hate stopping the economic growth along with the slow integration of so many cultures. People get alienated everyday and can be under threat in some areas, but fear doesn't have to stop people from moving forward. Just at the corner of my block alone is a mosque, a Jewish congregation, a Catholic Church, and a Christian church down the street, a testiment of multicultiralism at work in my community. Is this not possible in Europe?

I think you just can't compare Europe and the US. Plus the US has not really solved a huge problem with First Nations and Black Lives Matters shows that integration is not for everyone honestly.

Even though Europe has a low birth rate right now people focus on the economic crisis and they see immigrants as a threat. Not saying this is correct and I am actually for handling refugees in a more intelligent manner than right now because we have no choice as our borders are easy to reach for them. Besides, most European country have a stronger welfare. for example from a Danish perspective they know their living standard of living will get lower if too many people get on the welfare system at once. So sure it's easy to compare with the US when most immigrants know they have to work their ass off and speak English. But in most European countries you have tons of regulations and a language to learn, you can't learn German or French or another language overnight. Besides the catholic heritage that is quite present in most Latin country creates already a big cultural difference between the countries in Europe that are mostly protestant, this is seen in so many aspects and I guess in the US considering it wasn't founded by catholic you won't experience that but the US is a country of immigrants. Not saying Europe is made of pure blood people (that would be boring anyways) but the situation is entirely different and right now they can't cope plus they don't want with the rise of racism and such...

Maybe there are too many churches, mosques and temples that preach their religion is the right one and other people are false or infidels. So people get suspicious of other people.

Not everyone is as single minded about their religion, many religions still preach about peace and treating people as they would like to be treated. People are far more complex in their humanity, they are human and have the same needs and families as anyone. I've known people of many different faiths who are brave and smart enough to see beyond such small minded suspicion. There is more to people than these assumptions and projections from a bitter, generalizing perspective.

Perhaps you should get out more and see for yourself.
