People rolled their eyes when I, among others, said the lead single wouldn't be ready for The Grammys. "She has been working on this since after ARTPOP!" they said "What about the photos with her and RedOne in the studio??" they said "Even though Gaga said AHS was a full time job and she wasn't working on the album, obviously they are planning a surprise release!" they cried. My general estimate for when the lead single might be ready (Which I readily admit is based upon nothing and I won't be upset, disappointed or even surprised if it doesn't come then) has always been around July. It could come around September, it might not even be ready this year as hoped. We have no information other than "New album 2016" but that's so vague. It doesn't seem, to me, that the album is anywhere near ready. They seem to hope for a 2016 release, that's what seems feasible now, but I really wouldn't even be surprised or upset if it becomes early next year. I crave new music as much as anyone here, but I'm glad she is taking her time to really build and perfect the album and really plan out potential music videos and performances. I'm sure she not only wants to perfectly plan out her musical direction, but she complained that she felt she had such little time to work on MV's and performances during ARTPOP (With Applause and DWUW at least - she seemed to take her time with G.U.Y).
