Meghan Trainor may have learned a thing or two about the art of hair flips when she worked with the ladies of Fifth Harmony, and it looks like she's taking the art form out for a spin.

Trainor shared a glimpse at her upcoming music video for current single "No" on Instagram early Wednesday morning (March 16). It's sort of goth, sort of shiny, sort of spiritiual and, yes, sort of reckless in the hair department.

I thought she was going to be one of those artists that keep on using the same style during their entire career because they think it is a warranty of success but this is gold

Or maybe they do it because they have a strong sense of identity?

This whole idea that artists have to change in order to be more credible is incredibly stupid and unnecessary.

The majority do it because management say so...Anyways, I'm pretty sure you can't survive in the industry with the same style forever.

No they don't. You do.

I don't see how having a strong sense of identity without wanting to change means you aren't going to survive in the industry. That's a pretty dumb assumption. Change can also ruin careers, such as Bionic.

Lack of quality releases kills careers, not staying the same.

I do what? Change is always necessary, and you can either fail or get the biggest hit in your career. No change means no risk and without risking you don't succeed.

You say that management tells artists to stay the same, when in reality a lot of artists simply know exactly who they are and do not wish to change for shallow reasons.

And no. Change is not necessary unless you want to change. Changing and taking risks are not the same thing.

Ariana Grande decided to not change and release a Problem 2.0, see where she is now. Changing can also be good.

No she didn't. She released an awful song which is nowhere near as good as problem. Cheaply imitating past work is not the same as having a consistent image.

No it is not, but the change is risky too. And yes, no one can obligate an artist to change, but with change they show how their artistry is valid within a lot of contexts.

None of what you said makes sense. All you're doing is fabricating sentences. Artists can show their artistry is valid with quality releases. Quality and change are not the same thing. Where did Bionic get Christina? Where did ARTPOP get Gaga? The list goes on.
