LEMON 80
omg I'm still bitter that DWUW was doing really well on itunes but the sales weren't being counted and only started counting when the abum was released

Some people give the impression that she has a bad reputation following ARTPOP in the US but in the UK she simply just faded with a lack of promo. Yes in UK the general public still think of gaga with adoration of her earlier stuff. She faded out but radios still play just dance poker face bad romance and edge of glory like all the time

I think it missed 3 weeks of sales before it eventually debuted 3 weeks later at

DWUW has not a really good chart performance but sold 400 K so. Do What U Want wasn't allowed to officially chart until the album was released cos of a stupid rule, so it would've had a few more weeks

I remember rolling in the deep being quite a hit from December 2010. In US the whole Adele situation arrived some months later.

Maybe in the charts but in terms of pop culture Gaga was more talked about her in 2011 than Adele and gaga was getting all the headlines in 2011 and the radio in 2011 was all gaga and Adele in 2011 they were both overshadowing everyone else I dont feel gaga was overshadowed by Adele then really.
