YouTube is for music videos and other random crap. I rarely use Soundcloud. That's mainly for people who are into remixes/fanmade material. If your question is concerning the latter then you should take into account that youtube compresses audio which diminishes overall sound quality; however, if you want to upload lyric videos and music videos then youtube would be a more ideal choice.
