Absolutely insensitive. Given that MANY artists who collaborated with him called him out, this is enough proof of his disastrous antics. Educate yourself.

please. this was happening long before others chimed in. the more artists have personal anecdotes the more i think that dr luke is an asshole, but as for rape? permanently labeling him a rapist? im a little more cautious before i declare someone to be a rapist. this bandwagon is annoying, and how is it "insensitive"? that i dont automatically bow down to someone calling "rape"? we dont know what happened. im not saying she is a liar, im saying that none of us know.

It's very telling that a lot of former clients of Dr. Luke have come out to speak negatively about him and/or support Kesha. I can't see Marina or Kelly Clarkson being the kind of people that would lie. Since Marina has worked with him, it says something that she would believe this sort of thing about Luke.

But of course, we can't accuse him of rape. Marina is very smart by using the word "allegedly." It was not proven, so it's just Kesha's word against Dr.Luke. This doesn't mean it did (or did not) happen, but we must be very careful here. Accusations of rape is a very, very serious thing. We must maintain a level head here and focus on just the facts, and the facts stand that Dr. Luke is, at minimum, a very selfish, inappropriate bully. I'm hoping maybe there will be enough pressure on Sony to in turn pressure Dr. Luke to come up with a more compromising solution (such as a fair renegotiation of the contract), but I think our best hope is that Kesha is somehow able to raise the funds to buy herself out.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Kesha signed contract with DrLuke back in 2005. Contract was for 9 albums. She was only 17. 5 months later he raped her and shortly after that she tried to break the contract, but she didn't suceed. then all that was forgotten they didn't break contract but they didn't work either... all until 2009 when she break big. She probably overcame it and thought she will be able to handle it but she wasn't cause on top of raping her he also verbally abused her and that's why she took it to the court now. Could you work with someone like that?

And again- even IF we take out the rape allegations because they were not 100% confirmed, he also: ( @Yaxley - this is important, people aren't just pissed at Luke over rape allegations; even without the rape allegations he's been a bad person who Kesha should be able to be completely released from)

- Forced Kesha and The Flaming Lips to cancel the album "Lipsha" they created together, so he blocked the music of an entire band working with Kesha from being released.

- People are blackmailed into working with him (Kelly Clarkson). Kelly and members of her team actually spoke out about her experience working with Luke (and Martin) 3 years ago, so it's not like she just hopped on this bandwagon with Kesha.

- He prevented the songs Kesha wanted on her last album to be put on the final version, but the songs HE produced got to make it on.

He's canceled an entire album Kesha created with another band, has multiple artists speaking out negatively about their time with them, and gives Kesha little control over what songs she puts on her albums.

Why should ANYONE have to put up with that?

Sure, she signed a contract. But when circumstances come to this, a business needs to know when to just let it go.

yes that is true, she should be released because they dont belong together in a contract. other artists can easily get out of a contract like zAyN

you forgot about Demi. He blackmailed her asking her to make song he produced second single of Confident or he will take the song. And since she refused he gave it to the Becky G

I believe Kesha is saying the truth, especially because I can see it. She wouldn't get physically sick of this case, don't get me wrong, she did something to her and look at how her weight fluctuated in two weeks. You have no idea of how rape victims have a hard time to speak about their issue and some live with that until the end, I believe you have NO idea on this subject but I know members of my family who got raped by people they worked with at their work office. With so little knowledge on the matter, I would try to document myself.

I'm genuinely sure that Kesha is saying the truth we can see it on how it affected her over the years, even if there is no evidence for a situation like this, rape victims are haunted by that and they're so scared and not taken seriously. Pretty much what you're doing right now.

i take someone seriously about a rape allegation if they have proof and dont wait ten years. i didnt say anything for years about this, because i gave her the benefit of the doubt, but now that everyone is calling dr luke a rapist, after the court decision, the fact is there is no proof. it doesnt matter what the (good) reasons are that kesha has no proof, it still stands that she has no proof endof. however she should be removed from the contract as this relationship is ruined forever.

Also in addition to my timeline post check out this song which she wrote back in 2011 way before she sued him. She tells you all.

it's okay if you won't want to judge him without proof but you came in this thread with "can this bandwagoon stop" as it's some pop culture moment and not serious issue such as rape.

I think he did, the issue is the way you gave your interpretation on the matter that bothered all the people that came after you. Next time, I'd suggest you being more constructive in the first post you make. If you want to speak your mind, do it insightfully.

I did. You used bandwagon in response to Marina saying she supports Kesha and then speaking on sexual assault. She even referred to Luke as an ALLEGED abuser. She isn't saying Luke is guilty of it. So I don't understand why you went on to insist Luke might be innocent (which I'm not saying he isn't) when the conversation began with defending sexual assault victims.
