My station (WHUD) did that with BR, too.  They edited the album version so they kept the "Oh oh oh oh OHHHH..." at the beginning instead of starting with the "Rah Rah"s like the actual radio edit, but they skip everything from "Walk walk, fashion baby" to the big "WANT YOUR BAD ROMANCE!", So after the set of "Rah Rah"s after the second chorus, it skips straight to the final chorus.  

Of the 6 main pop radio stations in Toronto only 1 kept the french part and the other 5 all cut it off  . Thats ironic too considering thats Canadas second official labguage  

 

and they all kept the "walk walk fashion baby..." But instead of 4 times they cut it down to 2

Yep, it's only done twice instead of four times in the official radio edit, plus the "rah rah ah ah ah" refrain before that is only done once instead of twice. Some stations choose to cut the "walk walk" bit probably because they thought shortening "bitch" to "bit" wasn't enough censorship.  

 

I heard TIHTY twice on the radio today!

Oh so thats why they cut out the french part in the Toronti stations... They needed time for the extra "rah rah ah ah ah" part

yeah twice? Thats awsome! Do you know anything about the date TIHTY gets sent to Canada radio? I just checked the play history in Toronto and Nada

I haaaaated this. My friend and I love Gaga and loved that song, but we used to change the station when it came on the radio cuz it's just SO poorly arranged.

I just heard TIHTY on the radio (Third time in 24 hours!  What kind of 2011 teas?) and I played it in sync with the original off my iTunes and it was the exact same version in the OP with the "pauses" shortened. I'm inclined to say this is official, but let's see if we hear this version on other stations, because I heard the full original version on a different station today.
