VOLANTIS 16,396
She's a Queen and she's had Iconic Status in UK I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
Haroon 49,685
I loved Mercy and Stepping Stone and Rain On Your Parade She has such a distinct and unique voice! Wasn't she supposed to be releasing a new album soon or something? Or was that a song for a movie soundtrack, I can't quite remember
Jed 7,716
Apparently after her second album wasn't as well received as the first she went to just focus on her family life. Whatever she got beat pop vocal album she can rest on that the rest of her life

StrawberryBlond 14,819
It's such a shame that she basically became a one hit wonder. Her second album, while not as good, was still decent. But it didn't perform well at all and critical reception was mixed-mediocre. Shockingly, the label gave up on promotion after ONE failed single. Well, Well, Well was definitely the worst song on the album and it shouldn't have been the lead single but I guess the label thought a sub-standard rip-off of Mercy was what the public wanted. Clearly, labels can be clueless. In a major "ouch" moment, it only went to #41 in the UK (doesn't it hurt when you're one under a base level of acceptability?) and obviously, it was decided that if she can't even succeed in the UK, her homeland and her most successful market, how on earth was she supposed to perform better overseas? So, the plug was pulled and Endlessly died a very cruel death. Duffy was clearly shook by the whole thing and announced that she was going to begin a long hiatus from the industry. Apparently, she's been working on and off recording for a few years, but nothing's ever come of it. She appeared in 2 movies and contributed to the soundtracks in that time but the films didn't catch any heat. She's the sad result of what happens when the public lose faith in you - your label follows suit and you're practically done. I hope she can come back to music. But yeah, her chances of a proper comeback are nil at this point.
