Impostor 4,114
In one hand you have an album with 17 great songs (think of Born This Way), but they all flopped (unknown reasons). In the other hand you have 8 great songs and all of the singles went #1. Would you bare watching a great album with 17 tracks flop before your eyes? Or would you bare having only 8 tracks to listen to for the next 3 years? Spoiler hi i'm new. international monster here.
Quasi 10,586
I would personally want 17 amazing songs that don't fare well on the charts. If I like a song, I'll damn well listen to it with no concern over whether it's going over well with the public. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas. Emigrante 9,318
Definitely 8 best tracks. Quality over quantity all the time. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

dannydevito 10,658
8 Amazing #1 worthy singles like TFM or 17 amazing songs that are not particularly successful but are (and will be) appreciated as hidden musical gems.
monstereo 1,232
8 #1 worthy singles At this point in Gaga's career, she needs that.
Voltaire 4,531
8. It's NOT about the charts BUT: the high charts get us more videos, more performances, more of an "era" and that's my favorite part. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker
malazam 15,710
8 greats songs! Even if just one go #1 idc, I love ''small albums'' Welcome to GGD another shot before we kiss the other side
Xaylan 1,326
Why does everyone care about charts? Enjoy the f*cking music, guys. Why would anyone even choose 8 songs over 17?

sipthistea 21,099
I would like a great album, with good quality, great lyrics and a solid production. A great work is always a hit. No matter what the charts say.

If the album fails commercially then we're getting another 2-videos era and a small tour in US with few dates in Europe
