Bashing a celebrity over the internet from the comfort of their homes is probably the easiest way to do that. Or perhaps they're afraid of her. Maybe hating her is a way of coping with the hate they have for a part of themselves that they're ashamed of. Kind of like how the most homophobic people end up being gay.
