It's about making a difference, but in a way its about a comeback. And believe it or not, Gaga and her label are also business people. Call them or us shallow but they will push this and it has good morals but they want success just like we do. Yes it's about making a difference but there is no difference without a lot of other stuff.

Wow you're ignorant... Ever notice why male fans likes watching sports for the scores? Gaga fans does it for the same reason... Sure the song has a good message, why can't it perform well on the charts? If it does, good... if it doesn't then at least Gaga tried to push it... 

Most males are into competition and scores... Ever see a sport fan saying let my team play because they're presenting a good message?

"Omg it won't chart" "The GP isn't here for that" "Keep it for lg5" gaga doesn't care about the charts specially with this song, not everything's about sales and charts. This song was clearly sent to help the people who's going through rough times, and after the Oscar performance interscope/gaga thought it could have a bigger impact if it was played more often on the radio.

Yes, she was! At my show of TMB, she took several opportunities to "preach" about equality and loving yourself and others around you. Even then, she had the call to an audience member that supported some LGBT organization. (Can't remember which one at this time) That was all before BTW. 

You are correct, times have changed. Most young adults grow and change from their college years through their twenties. She isn't a young artist just trying to keep up anymore. Gaga is older, wiser, and has more stability. She knows that she has influence and that she wants her contribution in this world to be about more than making a few pop songs. She can't go back and she doesn't want to.
