Honestly TIHTU it´s not my fave melody,it´s the message and Gaga´s interpretation that makes it huge.

So the new single comes out in 2017?

album Q4, lead single in the summer i guess.

Gaga confirmed the new album to be released this year so no

I know, i´m just joking....It´s that i was hoping that right after all those important performances, we were about to get in a new single´s orbit.

I hate the fact this wasn't sent to the radio in the first place, but it couldn't happen at a better time.

And to think of all the threads that were saying goodbye to TIHTY era after the Oscars :toofunny::derpga:

You're not getting it, Gaga wants this song to go big so people can see that meaning behind it.

Lol the meaning behind the song isn't subtle, it's obvious and forced. This is like Gaga's "In The Arms of an Angel".

This is EXACTLY like the DWUW/VENUS single teas........................... once DWUW started "doing well" (it debut at number 1 because of out of the world pre order sales, how interscrope failed to see this was beyond me) they sent that to radios and flipped the second single.

Once TITY was hyped a little bit after the oscars and hit top 10, suddenly they want to send it to radios? I know Gaga supports it and everything, but Gaga "supported" DWUW's single decision and later on we knew it was out of her control.

She personally wrote a letter to radio stations pleading for them to play the song because of it's message.. I think that's very different than switching singles that are used to promote album sales.

Of course it's obvious. That's what makes it effective. And that's exactly what made "Born This Way" effective too.

"I want to write my this-is-who-the-****-I-am anthem, but I don't want it to be hidden in poetic wizardry and metaphors. I want it to be an attack, an assault on the issue because I think, especially in today's music, everything gets kind of washy sometimes and the message gets hidden in the lyrical play. Harkening back to the early '90s, when Madonna, En Vogue, Whitney Houston and TLC were making very empowering music for women and the gay community and all kind of disenfranchised communities, the lyrics and the melodies were very poignant and very gospel and very spiritual and I said, 'That's the kind of record I need to make. That's the record that's going to shake up the industry.' It's not about the track. It's not about the production. It's about the song. Anyone could sing 'Born This Way'. It could've been anyone."
