Lady Gaga holte dabei erneut den Titel. Die Kuh zeigte keinerlei Starallüren, bockte nicht und war entspannt. Vermutlich lag es an ihrer Erfahrung. Die neunjährige Kuh hatte schon 2015 in Verden den Titel geholt. "Hier zu gewinnen, ist für die Landwirte eine wahnsinnige Ehre und bedeutet auch ein großes Renommee", sagte Hartmut Zingel, Masterrind-Geschäftsführer. Der stolze Besitzer von Lady Gaga, Henrik Wille aus Essen, hat tatsächlich ein Geheimnis für den Erfolg seines Tiers: "Eine Kuh darf man nicht als Produktionsmaschine sehen. Man muss sie auch verstehen und mal in Ruhe lassen", sagte der 35-jährige Landwirt. "Dafür muss die Kuh vor allem gesund bleiben." Bevor sie in die Arena geführt werden, werden die Tiere aus Niedersachsen und Sachsen liebevoll gestylt. Wichtiges Bewertungskriterium ist dabei der Euter.
