Their commentators don't seem to agree. They are calling the song "kitsch" and saying Gaga is a "fame *****" and "try hard" with her "one line" of writing credit. There is some pressed poster named Nixon Palanco leading the charge. Is that PawsDowns real name? Damn, wonder what bee got into his bonnet?

I had a lot of respect for Oscars in comparison with other award shows before this. Now I just don't know what to feel about them anymore.

although I'm not that pressed that Gaga didn't win an Oscar (cause I'm not a big fan of TIHTY as a song), I know that the Academy can snub real gems. 

there is like one clear example of that from last year ceremony, when they gave the award for Best Animated Feature to fuсking Big Hero 6. 

Big Hero 6 is a cute family-friendly movie, just nothing more and nothing less. It had nice visuals, but the plot was boring and just everything about this movie was boring - it could be good for kids, but I see it only as a failed attempt to appropriate Japanese culture and jump on the superhero bandwagon. 

The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, on the other hand, the original Japanese masterpiece through and trough, was totally snubbed. I recommend watching this animated film to everyone. 

and there are more examples of being snubbed at the Academy Awards.
