A woman has been arrested and charged with murder after she brandished a child's severed head outside a metro station in Moscow.

The woman is thought to have been babysitting the child before killing her and setting the apartment on fire.

She was filmed walking around and shouting "I am a terrorist" and "I am your death" outside the Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station.

Local media reports she took the severed head from her bag when she was stopped by a police officer.

Russian reporter Polina Nikolskaya told Reuters: "I was on my way to the metro station from home. She was standing near the metro entrance and caught my attention because she was screaming Allahu Akbar.

"I saw that she had a bloodied head in her arms but I thought it was not real. People in the crowd said it was real."

Earlier on Monday, police found a headless child's body in an apartment after a fire.

she was the little girl's babysitter . i cant imagine what the parents must be going through.

I don't know if you're joking or not, but that torture is used as interrogation on often innocent people who are held for years without a charge or trial. It's counterproductive and only creates more radicalism.

 

Idk what it has to do with this case, when it comes to child killers, I'm for slow painful death penalty.

Imo everyone that kills should get that, not just for kids. Kids are kids, yes, but they will grow to be adults, as adults have been kids themselves at some point. A human life is a human life, age doesn't matter. This is off topic but I'm feeling hateful right now.

I understand, but most people are more outraged by violent ending of life which didn't even properly start, you know? Like what could kid possibly do, how could child even defend himself/herself... it doesn't mean that murderer of any human being should get away with it, but it does anger me more when child is involved.
